Bridge the Gap is a community outreach program designed to enrich the lives of abused and neglected children in Clark and Skamania Counties (WA).
To do this, Bridge the Gap provides resources to enhance the stability, growth and success of children in foster and adoptive care.
Our vision is to "give every child a childhood".

Bridge the Gap provides support for children in foster care in Clark and Skamania Counties to have the education and social experiences they cannot otherwise obtain.
Bridge the Gap assists more than 1400 children in foster care to receive tutoring, school supplies, birthday presents, music lessons, athletics, athletic equipment, field trips, school activities and clothing.
These children through no fault of their own have been abused or neglected by their parents and removed from the family home. Once placed in homes of licensed foster parents or relatives, these children receive only the basic necessities. But imagine how life can change if a struggling student is placed with a tutor, or a budding pianist can take regular piano lessons, a youth soccer player has a pair of well-fitting soccer cleats or a high school senior can have graduation pictures. Bridge the Gap provides the funds so children in foster care can have the childhood they deserve.
